If you're highly dependent on other people's approval, we could say you're addicted to love. Hence the term love junkie. We don't mean love in the romantic sense of the word but in relation to matters such as attention, respect, being liked, and liking someone. This comes at a price for a love junkie. You don't really dare to say what you think and find it difficult to set boundaries. You put others before yourself, give them everything and yourself nothing. Last of all: you often receive little thanks in return. Do you want to change and no longer feel insecure? Boost your self-esteem!
