A lot is expected of a manager. In your management role you constantly face situations and people that give rise to certain emotions or stress. You are (partly) responsible for many areas where you have no, or virtually, no direct influence. Fortunately there are plenty of areas that you can influence. In this learning journey we zoom in on your emotions and behavior at work. If you have a greater understanding of how it works you can apply it more easily in your work situations with colleagues. This will allow you to manage without getting in the way of yourself.
Everyone has emotions, whether you are used to showing them or not. Everyone also experiences stress at one point or another. Maybe in your environment it's strange or even unthinkable to show these emotions in a managerial position. That doesn't mean that you don't have them and have to deal with them.
